Starting a business when your still working full time is HARD. I follow a few groups on LinkedIn that commonly ask "what's the most difficult thing about being an entrepenur?", a large amount of people say that time is the most valuable and its the most scarce. Another person said that they experience extreme guilt whenever spending time not being productive. When I read that I thought, that's a little excessive, but as the next few days went on I realized I was feeling the exact same way! I would wake up, work on my biz, go to my 9-5, come home and work on my biz until 9, eat dinner and go to bed. I also went to between 2 and 3 networking events a elk after work. After just a few weeks of this schedule it really started affecting my personal and professional life.
Just to be clear I am not a life coach and do not have any health/wellness training other than research I do on my own and tips from my mom who's a fitness trainer. With that said, staying healthy while trying to build a business from the ground up is friggen HARD. I had a really hard time balancing my schedule at first. I had (what felt like) a million networking events a week and tried to spend every waking hour researching or working on my business plan. By the time the weekend decided to show I had second guessed my business and life plan twice.
I'm 26 years old and have always been a goal driven person. Growing up my parents always fought about money and struggled financially in general. I told myself at a young age that I would't let that happen. I believe strongly in working hard for what you want and have made myself very proud doing so.
